Accordingly, candidates taking the 2025 high school graduation exam must have a total score of Math + 2 random subjects + priority points according to regulations of 18.5 points (or 17 points for first-generation candidates - the first person in the family including parents or guardians and all siblings to attend university). This score is applied to all training majors and facilities of FPT University nationwide in the 2025 enrollment period.
In addition to admission based on high school graduation exam results and direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training , candidates can also register for FPTU based on academic records, competency assessment test scores of Hanoi National University or Ho Chi Minh City National University, and other methods.
Besides the admission method based on high school graduation exam scores, FPT University uses many flexible admission methods for candidates.
Specifically, for the method of considering transcripts, candidates need to reach the Top 50 (or Top 55 for first-generation candidates) Schoolrank (look up rankings on the Schoolrank 2025 platform https://schoolrank.fpt.edu.vn) and at the same time have a total score of Math + 2 elective subjects (choose from: Literature, Foreign Language, History, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Economic and Legal Education, Information Technology, Technology) of semester 2 of grade 12 of 21 points or higher.
With the method of considering the capacity assessment test scores, candidates need to achieve 78 points in the capacity assessment test of Hanoi National University or 653 points in Ho Chi Minh City National University.
Other methods apply to candidates: Graduated from foreign high schools; have international certificates (APTECH HDSE/ADSE, ARENA ADIM, SKILLKING, JETKING...); graduated from joint programs such as BTEC HND, Melbourne Polytechnic, FUNiX, FPT Polytechnic; graduated from high schools of FPT Education Organization. These subjects are considered equivalent to the entrance threshold of the admission method of considering high school academic results (transcripts) 2025.
Candidates who are eligible for admission by the methods need to register "FPT" as their admission wish on the General Admission Support System of the Ministry of Education and Training from July 16 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28.

In 2025, FPT University will enroll 24 majors in the fields of Information Technology, Business Administration, Communication Technology, Law, and Languages. All programs are designed with an application orientation, integrating digital skills and AI technology from the first year.

Recently, FPT University also announced the scholarship policy for all candidates applying to the school according to their first or second choice on the general admission system of the Ministry of Education and Training or the National Public Service Portal.
