Launching the peak week of "Repaying gratitude" from July 20 to 27

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), the Provincial Youth Union launched a peak week of "Repaying gratitude" and "Drinking water, remember its source" throughout the province.

Accordingly, during the peak week (from July 20 to 27), grassroots youth organizations in the province will focus on implementing exchange activities, visiting, giving gifts; volunteer activities to take care of health, examine and provide free medicine to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, war invalids, sick soldiers, families of martyrs, people with meritorious services and relatives of people with meritorious services to the revolution in difficult circumstances in localities and units.

Environmental sanitation, renovation, upgrading, and embellishment of works honoring martyrs; mobilizing support and contributions of working days to build new and repair gratitude houses, works serving the lives and activities of families of people with meritorious services, relatives of people with meritorious services to the revolution in difficult circumstances; responding to the text message program "Gratitude to Martyrs" launched by the Vietnam Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs.

In addition, units will simultaneously organize "Green Sunday" activities on July 20; organize candle lighting ceremonies to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at all martyr cemeteries, steles, monuments, and martyr memorial houses in localities on the evening of July 26.

This year, the incense offering and candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to provincial-level heroic martyrs will be organized by the Provincial Youth Union at two locations: the Provincial Martyrs Cemetery (Tan Lap Ward) and the Provincial Martyrs Cemetery (Tuy Hoa Ward).

The implementation of activities during the peak period is a practical action showing the gratitude of today's youth to the generations of fathers and brothers who sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and protection of the Fatherland. Thereby, contributingto educating revolutionary traditions, fostering patriotism, national pride and a sense of responsibility of the young generation in the current period.
