Thematic exhibition "The Sound Scale of War" recreates the Victory of "Hanoi"

The exhibition aims to help the public better understand the fierceness of the strategic attacks by the US air force and navy when they escalated the destruction of the North; to recreate the life, activities and work of the Hanoi army and people (late 1972) with the spirit of solidarity in fighting and serving the fight, overcoming loss and pain, creating the victory of "Hanoi - Dien Bien Phu in the air".

Images of Hanoi destroyed by American bombs in late 1972 are displayed at the exhibition.
The blood pressure monitor used by Mr. Do Doan Dai, Director of Bach Mai Hospital, to examine people and victims after the US bombings in Hanoi in 1972.

The exhibition also introduces the lives of American pilots in Hoa Lo Detention Camp and their desire to end the war and return to their families; the story of the days of returning American pilots more than 50 years ago; the joint efforts of the Vietnamese and US governments to overcome the consequences of war along with the efforts of organizations and individuals in people's diplomacy activities.

Delegates and visitors to the exhibition listened to the historical story of the Victory "Hanoi - Dien Bien Phu in the air".

The thematic exhibition "Sounds of War" is presented through 3 contents: Victory Song, Memory Stream and Joining Hands to Heal.

At the exhibition, viewers met and talked with two historical witnesses, invited guests: Colonel Nghiem Dinh Tich, Hero of the People's Armed Forces, former P-35 Station Commander, Company 45, Regiment 291, Division 365, Air Defense - Air Force and Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Gunner No. 1, Self-Defense Platoon of Luong Yen Mechanical Factory, who participated in shooting down an F111 aircraft on the evening of December 22, 1972.

The exhibition runs until June 30, 2024.
