Implementing administrative procedure reform of the two-level local government organization model

On June 11, the Government Office held an online conference to implement administrative procedure reform when restructuring administrative units and implementing the two-level local government organization model.

At the conference, the new points of Decree No. 118/2025/ND-CP dated June 9, 2025 of the Government on implementing administrative procedures under the one-stop, one-stop mechanism at the One-stop Department and the National Public Service Portal were introduced; guidance and urging for updating information and data on the National Public Service Portal, upgrading the information system for handling provincial-level administrative procedures; implementing Resolution No. 66/NQ-CP dated March 26, 2025 of the Government on the Program to reduce and simplify administrative procedures related to production and business activities in 2025 and 2026.

The conference aims to improve skills in receiving and handling administrative procedures, communication skills, and public service culture for civil servants, public employees, and employees expected to be assigned to work at the Public Administration Service Center and One-Stop-Shop of communes and wards after the reorganization. At the same time, it aims to improve the satisfaction index for the quality of public service provision, focusing on improving the sense of responsibility and attitude of serving the people of the team of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and employees in performing the task of handling administrative procedures.
