How can the Vietnamese spirit continue to spread through concerts, not only during major holidays, nor just through free admission tickets or temporary "crowd effects"? That requires a systematic, long-term development strategy called "cultural industry", or to put it more specifically, as the latest directive of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh states: There needs to be an annual "national concert" called "Vietnam Spirit Festival".
"National Festival" is an opportunity for a wide audience to eagerly go to the "festival" with the luggage of "Vietnamese spirit" and "Vietnamese values" according to each person's feelings and thoughts.
The magnet isn't all about free tickets.
In the past, audiences who did not have money to buy tickets had little chance to see major art shows, or could only rely on live television broadcasts or customer appreciation events of businesses... but now, with a series of concerts held to celebrate the big event, they can hold free tickets for the first time to see their idols with their own eyes. Not only that, they can also admire and update the increasingly professional and modern performance technology, approaching international standards in Vietnam.
With the level of "willingness to spend" of event organizers (state or enterprise), on the occasion of important national holidays, concerts are invested in human resources, material resources and receive enthusiastic response from audiences and artists. Many large concerts such as V-Concert Radiant Vietnam, Fatherland in the Heart... gather many famous names to participate in the production team, creating strong attraction for the audience.

It is worth mentioning that the "magnet" is not entirely based on free tickets. If "Fatherland in the Heart" is considered a "gift to the people", opened for free and attracted 50,000 spectators to My Dinh Stadium on the evening of August 10, then V-Concert at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (Dong Anh - Hanoi ) on the evening of August 9 also attracted 25,000 spectators, despite selling tickets.
"Music always needs the right space to shine. Here is the whole society's mindset and the public's mindset on the country's special holiday. The emotions that are naturally spread resonate with music to create the sound of patriotism, gratitude and a strong desire for the future...", director Cao Trung Hieu, general director of 2 shows at the same time for VTV station ( V-Concert and V-Fresh ), commented.
It is worth mentioning that many new, viral hits belong to topics that have long been considered "picky" for young audiences, such as national pride, love for the homeland... Shining at V-Concert Radiant Vietnam with a series of hits in this topic, Em xinh say hi champion Phuong My Chi confidently shared with Thanh Nien : "Our youth have never turned their backs on traditional music, it's just that they haven't met the right version that makes them feel close. Chi thinks that when eternal values are told in a new language, with the breath of the times, it naturally finds a place in the hearts of young people."
Director Cao Trung Hieu shares the same opinion: "What is remarkable here is the roll-up of hands of a new musical generation. They use modern musical language, a level of learning approaching international standards in music production based on the foundation of Vietnamese cultural identity and spirit to create great appeal to the public. There we see the novelty of eternal values".
The sincerity of youth
"But above all, the sincerity of youth is what makes the public welcome and cheer," added director Cao Trung Hieu. "The sincerity of youth" is also the source of spiritual energy radiating from the dynamic and creative young men of DTAP, the most famous and sought-after music production team today. From the cross-Vietnam bus trip named "Proud of Vietnam" carried out by DTAP in association with the Youth Union, departing on August 19 and arriving in Hanoi on National Day, September 2, DTAP excitedly shared with Thanh Nien : "When standing under the banner with the words Proud of Vietnam , looking around at the artists who have accompanied us throughout the project, we feel very proud. After many months of silent preparation, now the bus carrying Vietnamese music and culture is ready to roll. That is when we know that this journey has truly begun. That feeling continues to be nurtured throughout the journey. We do not try to tell a story that is too big. We simply go, listen, record the beautiful things we see, and then tell them through music and images. And we believe that it is that sincerity that brings the greatest influence...".

Not appearing at the recent "national concerts", but from her observation position, "pop music queen" Thanh Lam also enthusiastically expressed: "Vietnamese music has never lacked good songs about the homeland, but for the musical heritage of yesterday to reach today's audience, the voices of young people are indispensable. There are things that "adults" say that they don't listen to, but if their idols, their peers, speak up, then that voice will spread far and penetrate much deeper to young audiences...". (continued)
