At the program, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Volunteers Association Vo Thanh Phong expressed his deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs, cadres, Youth Volunteers team members, and frontline laborers who died for the independence and freedom of the country.
During the years of resistance against foreign invaders, the whole nation went to war. Youth volunteers and frontline laborers - mothers, fathers, brothers, and sisters - left their fields and villages, put aside their daily work to sacrifice themselves for the country. Without guns or swords, they only had their shoulders as weapons, using their patriotism and strong will as strength to overcome mountains, forests, steep passes, and swamps.

So many people have fallen without a photo, without an address, and without leaving anything before leaving. Their blood and sweat were shed so that the country could be reunited. The sacrifices of the frontline workers and the Youth Volunteers of all periods are shining symbols of patriotism and Vietnamese revolutionary heroism.

Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Volunteers Association Vo Thanh Phong affirmed that the generation of Youth Volunteers living in the city is willing to follow in the footsteps of previous generations, upholding and promoting the sacred values of the nation. At the same time, they are determined and strive to fulfill their assigned tasks, contributing to the cause of building and developing a strong homeland, worthy of the title of Heroic City.
Previously, at the Ho Chi Minh Museum - Ho Chi Minh City Branch, delegates observed a minute of silence to commemorate, respectfully offer flowers and incense to the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh - National Liberation Hero, genius leader of the Party and people of Vietnam, outstanding cultural figure.
