This year's tournament took place from June 21-29, gathering more than 650 athletes from 40 provinces, cities and sectors, competing in 5 categories: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles, in 5 age groups from 9 to 17 years old.

As a result, the Ho Chi Minh City delegation continued to maintain the top position with a total of 5 gold medals, spread across age groups and events: U11 men's singles, U11 men's doubles, U15 men's singles, U15 men's doubles and U17 men's doubles. With a large number of athletes, stable performance and a systematic training system, the Ho Chi Minh City delegation proved its role as a "locomotive" in the development of youth badminton nationwide.

The highlight of this year is the impressive breakthrough of Thai Binh delegation. With 4 gold medals won from the events: U13 women's singles, U13 women's doubles, U17 women's singles and U17 women's doubles, Thai Binh surpassed many strong units such as Lam Dong and Bac Giang to rise to second place overall.
