MU speeds up signing Ederson
Sky Sports reported that MU is speeding up negotiations with Atalanta about the transfer of midfielder Ederson.
MU has been following Ederson for a year now. The Brazilian midfielder is highly regarded after his seasons as a mainstay in Atalanta causing chaos in Serie A and the Champions League.
Atalanta have just gone through some major changes. Coach Gasperini – who had a big influence on Ederson’s development – has moved to AS Roma, so the 26-year-old is ready to leave “La Dea”.
MU must speed up the deal because Juventus and Inter Milan are both entering the derby d'Italia battle for Ederson. Atalanta are demanding a transfer fee of 55 million euros.
Bayern Munich “kidnapped” Barca
Bayern Munich are in contact with Bradley Barcola's representatives, before making a formal enquiry to PSG.
Despite Luis Enrique claiming Barcola is not for sale, Bayern Munich are still looking to sign the 22-year-old Frenchman.
Bayern Munich are without Jamal Musiala for a long time . That forces the Bundesliga champions to strengthen their attacking options, and Barcola are favourites after missing out on Nico Williams.
According to German press, Bayern Munich is ready to pay PSG a fee of 100 million euros. Coach Kompany wants Michael Olise and Barcola - the future of the French national team - to become the wings of the Allianz Arena team.
Real Madrid closes Carreras deal
Real Madrid are close to agreeing a deal for left-back Alvaro Carreras , according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Real Madrid had planned to sign Carreras for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. However, the former MU youngster ended up playing for Benfica in the tournament.
Despite Fran Garcia's good form in the United States, Xabi Alonso's priority is still to add Carreras to the left-back position.
In the latest negotiations, Real Madrid offered Rafael Obrador – also a left-back owned by Castilla (Real B). Benfica accepted this offer and the parties are now working on the final steps.
- Real Madrid are expected to part ways with David Alaba and Ferland Mendy , once the Alvaro Carreras deal is completed. The futures of Dani Ceballos and Endrick will also be considered.
- AC Milan are targeting Girona's Miguel Gutierrez to replace Theo Hernandez at Al Hilal. The deal is estimated at €25m, with Real Madrid holding 50% ownership of the 2024 Paris Olympic champions.
- British press reported that AC Milan wants to recruit Jack Grealish . However, Man City's request of 45 million euros seems too high.
- Everton are in talks with Real Sociedad over Takefusa Kubo . However, their offer of 30 million euros for the Japanese international has not been accepted.
- Juventus want Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Granit Xhaka . Previously, the former Arsenal player approached Milan but the deal ultimately failed.
- Liverpool rejected Napoli's 50 million euro offer for Darwin Nunez . The parties will continue discussions in the coming days.
- Timothy Weah is set to leave Juventus to join Marseille, after being out of the Turin club's plans.
- After weeks of negotiations, Boca Juniors have reached an agreement with AS Roma for midfielder Leandro Paredes .
- Celta Vigo want Inaki Pena , who can barely compete for the goalkeeper position at Barcelona.
