Girl with liver damage and severe respiratory failure due to dengue fever shock

Here, the patient was diagnosed with severe dengue shock, liver damage, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe respiratory failure, etc.

The child was treated intensively with high molecular weight fluids, albumin, vasopressors, and non-invasive ventilation, endotracheal intubation, and peritoneal drainage to reduce pressure. After nearly 10 days of treatment, the patient was weaned off the ventilator, alert, and his liver and kidneys recovered well.
