Although the domestic coffee market is still under downward pressure today, experts say that domestic coffee prices may recover slightly on June 28, 2025. The expected increase ranges from 200 - 500 VND/kg depending on the region and the purchasing power of businesses.
Specifically, coffee prices in Dak Lak and Dak Nong may increase to around VND91,200-91,500/kg, while Gia Lai and Lam Dong are expected to reach VND90,700-91,000/kg. However, this increase is expected to be quite modest due to the cautious sentiment of export enterprises after many recent deep declines.
International coffee price forecast June 28, 2025
In the world market, coffee prices also recorded a slight recovery trend after strong fluctuations. Delivery terms on the two major exchanges were adjusted up, reflecting the conflicting psychology between buyers and sellers.
However, coffee prices remain under pressure from rising inventories and the prospect of abundant supplies, especially from Brazil – the world’s leading coffee producer. Global coffee production forecast for the 2024-25 crop year is slightly reduced to 174.4 million bags, while consumption demand is also reduced to 166.52 million bags, resulting in a surplus of about 7.88 million bags.
