Continue to improve the quality of new rural criteria

Through efforts and struggles, Vinh Hung district (old) was recognized by the Prime Minister as meeting new rural standards (NTM) in 2024. Currently, newly established communes under the 2-level local government model in the area continue to improve the quality of the criteria.

Vinh Hung receives the title of new rural district

After 14 years of joining hands and unanimously implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Development, the rural appearance of Vinh Hung district (old) has many positive changes, becoming more and more spacious, green, clean and beautiful. The economic structure has shifted towards reducing the proportion of agriculture, rapidly increasing the proportion of industry - construction and trade - services.

Agricultural production and rural industries are shifting towards sustainability; commodity production is linked to the market and consumption, creating clean products and products that meet OCOP standards. Thereby, creating more jobs and increasing income for rural workers.

People's lives are increasingly improved

Many essential socio-economic infrastructure works in rural areas have been invested in upgrading and newly built. The material and spiritual life of the people has been increasingly improved. The awareness and responsibility of the Party Committee, the government and the people in building the new rural areas have been significantly raised. The political security system, order and social safety have been maintained and increasingly developed.

The above results were achieved thanks to the attention and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, the support of the Steering Committee, the Provincial New Rural Area Coordination Office, departments, branches, and organizations of the province, the strong determination of the entire political system, the companionship and responsibility of enterprises, and the joint response of the people. The new rural area construction program achieved important and meaningful achievements.

Entering a new phase, when implementing the 2-level local government model, the communes of Vinh Hung, Tuyen Binh, Khanh Hung, Tay Ninh province continue to strive to achieve advanced and exemplary NTM standards in the coming time.

According to Chairman of Khanh Hung Commune People's Committee - Tran Van Bang, to achieve the set goals, the Party Committee, government and people of the commune continue to promote the achieved results, strengthen internal solidarity, actively propagate and mobilize people; consolidate and improve the quality of NTM criteria, implement advanced and distinguished NTM criteria, especially focus on supporting capital, science and technology, replicating poverty reduction models, effective production to increase income for people; promote restructuring of the agricultural sector, develop high-tech agriculture, produce clean products in a modern direction, especially develop commodity agricultural production according to the value chain, create stable output for products, reduce costs and increase profits.

With the local revolutionary tradition, the Party Committee, government and people of Vinh Hung, Tuyen Binh and Khanh Hung communes continue to unite, be creative and strive to achieve more achievements, building an increasingly civilized and prosperous homeland./.
