Building new rural areas with new administrative models

Provincial leaders and My Loc commune cut the ribbon to inaugurate the project to renovate the lighting system of Huong Lo 20.

After the merger, Tan Tap commune now has a total area of 60.22 ^km2 and a population of 44,490 people. The merger has opened up new development space, raising the position of Tan Tap on the socio -economic map of Tay Ninh province.

During the past term, the old localities implemented 153 projects with a total cost of 302 billion VND, of which the people contributed 9.2 billion VND. The appearance of the commune has improved a lot, the rural roads have been asphalted or concreted to serve the needs of transportation and circulation of goods, contributing to improving the material and spiritual life of cadres, party members and people.

Notably, all three communes before the merger were recognized as meeting the new rural standards. Phuoc Vinh Dong commune and the old Tan Tap commune were recognized as meeting the new rural standards 2 years ahead of schedule. Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Thuy (residing in Tan Tap commune) shared: “Responding to the movements launched by the Fatherland Front, local socio -political organizations as well as the new rural construction, we participated in cleaning the environment, picking up trash, clearing bushes, planting trees, flowers, etc. Thanks to that, there are many green, clean, and beautiful roads here, contributing to beautifying the countryside where we live.”

According to Secretary of Tan Tap Commune Party Committee Tran Thanh Phong, in the Resolution of the Commune Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, the goal is to maintain the commune meeting the NTM standards, striving to successfully build an advanced NTM commune by 2030. Therefore, the locality continues to review to improve the quality of the criteria; increase investment in infrastructure, especially transportation, electricity, water and infrastructure serving economic development; focus on dredging canals and ditches in the fields. At the same time, the locality strives to improve the operational efficiency of cooperatives and cooperative groups; mobilize investment resources for education and training development; effectively implement social security policies to sustainably reduce poverty;...

Similarly, before merging into My Loc commune (new), My Loc, Thuan Thanh, Phuoc Lam communes had all met the NTM standards. The material and spiritual life of the people has been constantly improved, the appearance of the commune has become more and more prosperous. These achievements not only reflect the efforts of the localities in socio-economic development in general and NTM construction in particular in recent times, but also create the premise for promoting advanced and exemplary NTM construction of the commune after the merger, creating more room for the locality to develop the economy - society quickly and sustainably.

This is also one of the highlights in the 2025-2030 term of the above 3 communes in implementing the breakthrough program: Building advanced NTM communes (2/3 communes have met advanced NTM standards).

Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council of My Loc commune, Nguyen Phuoc Hung, said that promoting the results achieved in the process of building new rural areas and advanced new rural areas in the past, the commune's goal in the new development stage is to unblock and mobilize all development resources, innovate, make breakthroughs in digital transformation, build a commune that meets advanced new rural standards, and move towards building a model, modern new rural area. In addition, the locality is constantly improving and enhancing the material and spiritual life of the people, ensuring social security, ... striving to have no poor households by 2030 (according to the poverty standards of the period, except for poor households without the ability to work).

The locality focuses on implementing environmental protection, collecting and transporting household waste; propagating and mobilizing people to classify and treat waste at households, planting trees and flowers along the roads to create a "bright - green - clean - beautiful" environmental landscape; renovating existing residential areas according to the new rural model, focusing on service quality in rural areas, moving towards urban quality, for the convenience of the people; continuing to expand traffic routes connecting to main roads (5m or more) according to the motto "State and People work together", striving for 100% of traffic routes to be "bright - green - clean - beautiful"; strengthening leadership in land management and construction order according to legal regulations, resolutely handling violations; renovating power grids and optical cables to ensure safety and aesthetics. Closely lead the work of reviewing and re-evaluating the new rural criteria, focusing on building communes that meet comprehensive and sustainable advanced new rural standards, moving towards building modern, exemplary new rural areas.

In addition, My Loc commune continues to maintain agricultural development in the direction of applying high technology and smart agriculture; focusing on research and building development plans in the direction of "ecological agriculture, modern countryside, civilized farmers", replicating effective agricultural production models, raising livestock farms applying technology to ensure biosafety, creating conditions for developing innovative ideas in production, processing and consumption of agricultural products; improving the quality of cooperatives and cooperatives, developing crops with high economic value; promoting start-up activities, innovation, digital transformation in agriculture, connecting e-commerce to promote and advertise local agricultural products and OCOP; focusing on the maintenance and repair of dykes, dredging of canals, ditches, irrigation works, promoting the efficiency of pumping stations to ensure irrigation water for production and prevent flooding, saltwater intrusion, etc. /.
