Attending the conference were representatives of relevant departments and branches along with 20 enterprises participating in the pilot application of the TXNG system in Tien Giang province.
Pursuant to Decision 100/QD-TTg dated January 19, 2019 of the Prime Minister on "Approval of the Project on Deployment, Application and Management of the TXNG System", the Department of Science and Technology (KH&CN) advised the People's Committee of Tien Giang province to issue Plan 204/KH-UBND dated June 30, 2021 to deploy and implement the above content. In which, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Science and Technology to be the focal agency for state management of origin tracing activities, monitoring the implementation of assigned tasks in the plan.

On that basis, the Department of Science and Technology has coordinated with the Center for Science and Technology Development and Quality Measurement LACO to implement. Up to now, the implementing unit has completed the science and technology task with the topic "Research and development of a TXNG management system".

At the conference, delegates were introduced to an overview of the TXNG system and the implementation of the TXNG system in the province; the role of the TXNG system in managing the quality of goods and products and in the fight against counterfeit and fake goods in the province. An overview of the Tien Giang Province Product and Goods TXNG Information Portal and the main features of the TXNG Portal was introduced; a demo of the TXNG Information Portal was presented and instructions were given to businesses on how to register and use the TXNG Portal.

Speaking at the conference, Nguyen Doan Thanh Tuyet, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Tien Giang province, said that in the context of international economic integration and the Industrial Revolution 4.0 taking place strongly, information transparency and enhancing consumer confidence in products and goods are urgent requirements for state management agencies and production and business enterprises.
Therefore, the construction and operation of the Product and Goods Customs Clearance Portal is an important step, demonstrating the province's determination to accompany and support businesses in improving their competitiveness, promoting digital transformation in the fields of production, trade and product quality management.
This portal will be an effective support tool to help businesses manage their supply chains transparently; provide accurate and timely information to consumers. At the same time, it will facilitate the authorities in inspection, supervision and TXNG when necessary.
In the coming time, the Department of Science and Technology will continue to accompany and support units and enterprises in the process of applying and effectively deploying the TXNG system in practice...
