Construction progress of the project to renovate and upgrade provincial road 395 in Binh Giang is delayed.

Binh Giang District has handed over 4.4 km of clean land to the contractor to construct the project items to renovate and upgrade Provincial Road 395 and the road leading to Cay Bridge to Provincial Road 394. The district is continuing to clear the land for 1.3 km on the left side of the route from Vinh Hong Commune Health Station to km22+480.

The project to renovate and upgrade provincial road 395 and the road leading from Cay bridge to provincial road 394 is a key project of Binh Giang district to implement the Resolution of the 28th District Party Congress, term 2020-2025. The project is invested by the Binh Giang District Construction Investment Project Management Board with a total cost of 1,050 billion VND.

Previously, Provincial Road 395 had a road width of only 5.5-6m, the drainage system was not synchronized, mainly draining water into ponds, lakes, and fields. The capacity to exploit the route was still limited.

According to the project, the renovated and upgraded section of provincial road 395 is more than 7 km long, starting at km16+750 intersecting with the new residential roundabout south of Cay village, Long Xuyen commune, ending at km23+920 intersecting with Sop C bridge. The scale and standards of a level III plain road with 4 lanes, design speed 60km/h. The approach road to Cay bridge has the end point intersecting provincial road 394 at km10+115 including 3 investment segments; level II plain road with 4 lanes, design speed 80km/h.

Once completed, this route will form an axis connecting industrial parks and clusters of Binh Giang with Cam Giang district and Hai Duong city.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of December 2024.
