Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh worked with the leaders of JBS Group - the world's leading food processing group headquartered in Brazil and with representative offices in 24 countries and territories. At the meeting, the leader of JBS Group, Mr. Fábio Maia de Oliveira, said that JBS has been present in Vietnam since 2021. Currently, the Group has established 2 companies in Vietnam operating in the fields of frozen food distribution and leather production. JBS plans and wishes to expand its investment in Vietnam.
Congratulating the group's business results globally and in Vietnam in recent times, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated JBS Group for organizing the export of the first batch of beef to Vietnam and planning to expand investment cooperation in Vietnam.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that the Vietnam-Brazil relationship continues to develop well, especially since the two countries completed upgrading their relationship to a Strategic Partnership in November 2024. On the basis of promoting the foundation of good political and diplomatic relations between the two countries, the Prime Minister expressed his hope that Brazilian enterprises, including JBS Group, will continue to pay attention and expand investment and business cooperation in the Vietnamese market.
Along with serving a consumer market of more than 100 million people and a growing middle class, Vietnam is ready to be a gateway for JBS to enter the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) region and Northeast Asian countries such as China. The Prime Minister hopes that the Group will strengthen cooperation with domestic partners to bring the Group's products to Vietnamese and regional consumers, as well as bring Vietnamese agricultural products to the Brazilian market and the Group's global market network, making the most of the 17 free trade agreements that Vietnam has signed with more than 60 leading economies in the world.
Informing that Vietnam is promoting negotiations towards signing a free trade agreement with Brazil and the Southern Common Market (MERCOSUR), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh asked JBS Group to contribute to promoting this process, thereby creating conditions for the group to operate more effectively and continue to expand production and business in Vietnam.

The Prime Minister pledged that the Vietnamese Government will accompany and create favorable conditions for JBS Group to invest in effective, long-term and sustainable business in accordance with legal regulations in Vietnam in the coming time; suggested that the group cooperate and support domestic partners to improve their capacity, especially in the stages of market development, technology transfer, product promotion, etc., thereby bringing Vietnam to participate more deeply and sustainably in the global supply chain.
Agreeing with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's opinion, Mr. Fábio Maia de Oliveira said that JBS is ready to make Vietnam a production and distribution center for JBS's agricultural products and food in the region and globally.

Working with the leaders of Embraer Group, Mr. Jose Serrador Neto - Global Vice President of the group - said that Embraer is a multi-industry group, operating mainly in the field of aviation and aerospace industry, 51% owned by the Brazilian Government.
Embraer Group is the world's third largest commercial aircraft manufacturer with more than 8,000 aircraft produced. Revenue in 2024 is expected to reach more than 6.4 billion USD. In Vietnam, Embraer has supplied aircraft to Bamboo Airways and is currently in discussions with partners such as Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet to expand cooperation with Vietnam.
In a recent meeting with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, the Prime Minister and the President agreed to strengthen aviation cooperation. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh welcomed and highly appreciated the group's new generation commercial aircraft products, with requirements that could be solutions to help Vietnamese airlines develop a sustainable fleet, while improving operational efficiency and ensuring flight safety.

The Prime Minister said that Vietnam has many advantages in developing the aviation sector and is strongly developing this type of transport; he suggested that the group research and continue to discuss with Vietnamese partners such as Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet, Viettel... to move towards specific cooperation activities, bringing practical benefits to both sides.
In particular, the cooperation activities include promoting the opening of direct flights between Vietnam and Brazil, developing an aerospace ecosystem in Vietnam, researching, transferring technology, forming an aircraft maintenance center, and a human resource training center in Vietnam to serve the group's network of partners and customers in the ASEAN and Asia-Pacific regions; at the same time, helping businesses penetrate deeply into the South American market.
In agreement with the Prime Minister's opinion, Mr. Jose Serrador Neto and his colleagues from Embraer Group proposed that the Prime Minister direct and create conditions for Embraer to cooperate long-term with Vietnamese partners; stating that Embraer will actively contribute to the negotiation and signing process of the Free Trade Agreement, the Agreement on Investment Promotion and Protection between Vietnam and Brazil and the Vietnam - MERCOSUR Free Trade Agreement as proposed by the Prime Minister.

On the same morning, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh worked with the leaders of FS Company - a pioneer enterprise in Brazil specializing in producing ethanol from corn, and one of the leading low-carbon biofuel producers in Latin America.
Appreciating Vietnam's green development strategy, Mr. Daniel Lopes - Vice President of FS Company - said that with the mission of promoting sustainable development, FS combines modern technology with smart farming solutions to create clean energy products such as ethanol, biomass electricity and by-products for the livestock industry. FS proposed strategic cooperation with Vietnam on biofuel.

Appreciating the initiative and goodwill of FS in promoting bilateral cooperation on biofuels, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that Vietnam is gradually implementing an energy transition strategy and aiming for net zero emissions by 2050 as committed at the 26th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP26), in which the development of sustainable energy solutions in the transport sector plays an important role.
Welcoming the proposal of FS on the establishment of an exchange mechanism between Vietnam and Brazil on biofuel, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh assigned relevant agencies of Vietnam to discuss and study the establishment of an exchange and cooperation mechanism between the two governments on biofuel; and requested FS company to closely coordinate with Vietnamese ministries, sectors and localities to share experiences in the field of biofuel production.
The Prime Minister hopes that FS will expand investment - business - trade cooperation in Vietnam as well as strengthen cooperation with Vietnamese enterprises, including the Vietnam National Energy and Industry Group, to transfer technology, support Vietnamese enterprises to participate in the global biofuel value chain as well as support Vietnam to access E10 gasoline at a suitable price, competitive with the international market. In particular, research for the Vietnam National Energy and Industry Group to cooperate with FS to invest in ethanol production in Vietnam or in Brazil.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also worked with the leaders of Granja Fujikura Company - a high-tech agricultural farm in Brazil belonging to the Granja Fujikura system of Japan.
Mr. Wiliam Shuhei Fujikura - Director of Fujikura Company - said that in 2025, Fujikura Quail Genetics Company visited and surveyed Vietnam and is currently planning to cooperate with Trong Khoi Company to develop quail farming in the Vietnamese and Asian markets; hoping that the Vietnamese Government, ministries, branches and localities will create conditions for the company to cooperate effectively in Vietnam, not only in quail farming but also in developing large-scale high-tech agriculture.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh congratulated Granja Fujikura Company on its business results globally in recent times; highly appreciated the company's cooperation with Trong Khoi, one of the leading enterprises in Vietnam in the field of quail egg export; affirmed that on the basis of the good relationship between Vietnam and Brazil, Vietnam hopes that Brazilian enterprises, including Granja Fujikura Company, will continue to pay attention and expand investment and business cooperation in the Vietnamese market.

According to the Prime Minister, Vietnam aims to export 100 billion USD worth of agricultural, forestry and fishery products in the coming years. To achieve these goals, the Vietnamese Government is committed to resolving issues in the sector such as institutions, policies, human resources, land, etc. and creating conditions for private enterprises and foreign-invested enterprises to develop and export agricultural products.
Emphasizing that with a potential consumer market of over 100 million people and a growing middle class, and being the gateway to the ASEAN region, a dynamically developing region and the world's leading attractive destination for investors, the Prime Minister hopes that the company will strengthen cooperation with domestic partners to bring the company's products to Vietnamese and regional consumers, as well as bring Vietnamese agricultural products to the Brazilian market and the company's global market network.
Hoping that the company will cooperate and support domestic partners to improve their capacity, especially in the stages of market development, technology transfer, product promotion, etc. with the spirit of "what you say must be done, what you commit to must be done effectively", the Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the Ministry of Finance to continue to coordinate with relevant ministries, branches and localities to support the company in the process of researching and implementing investment and business activities in Vietnam as well as creating conditions for cooperation with Vietnamese enterprises.
