In a press conference after meeting with current Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra, Mr. Anwar thanked Mr. Thaksin and the Thai government for their agreement on this. "We need the experience of politicians like Mr. Thaksin to lead ASEAN," Mr. Anwar said.
