The meeting aimed to discuss bilateral relations and preparations for the Vietnamese high-level delegation to attend the expanded BRICS Summit, scheduled to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from July 6-7.
At the reception, Deputy Minister Nguyen Minh Hang highly appreciated the Brazilian Ambassador's coordination in strengthening bilateral relations, especially contributing to the results of President Lula da Silva's official visit to Vietnam in March 2025.
The Deputy Minister believes that high-level visits and contacts will create important momentum to increasingly promote the strategic partnership framework between the two countries.
For his part, Ambassador Marco Farani emphasized that Brazil welcomes and believes that as a partner country of the BRICS bloc, the high-level delegation of Vietnam attending this expanded BRICS Summit will make many positive contributions, ensuring the success of the conference.
The Brazilian Ambassador affirmed that he will continue to closely coordinate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to concretize the commitments and high-level agreements reached during recent bilateral visits and contacts between the two countries' leaders.
