Talking to Dan Viet Newspaper reporter, Mr. Nguyen Van Luong - Chairman of Cu Nam Commune People's Committee (Bo Trach District, Quang Binh Province), said: "The locality is making efforts to complete the targets to strive for the advanced rural finish line by 2025 and effectively and on schedule implement the content of the project "Cu Nam Cultural Tourism Village" to be qualified for recognition as a provincial-level tourist area, becoming an attractive destination for sightseeing, relaxation, and entertainment in the North Central region.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Luong - Chairman of the People's Committee of Cu Nam commune (Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province), Cu Nam commune reached the new rural finish line in 2018. Thanks to the new rural construction program, the new rural appearance has been spacious, clean and beautiful, meeting the needs and aspirations of the people, social security has been ensured, culture, education, health care have been developed, political security, social order and safety have been ensured; the material and spiritual life of the people has been increasingly improved.

In particular, after the People's Committee of Quang Binh province approved the "Cu Nam Cultural Tourism Village" Project in 2021, the local Party Committee and government disseminated the purpose and significance of the Project to cadres, party members and people in the whole commune.

To implement the "Cu Nam Cultural Tourism Village" Project, the commune has invested in infrastructure suitable to the local situation and has plans and vocational training programs to develop human resources.

Along with that, developing and perfecting existing eco-tourism spots, homestay and farmstay community tourism, and increasing activities to call for and attract investors, the locality continues to promote environmental protection and landscape preservation to ensure satisfaction and attract more and more tourists to the locality.

According to the leader of Quang Binh Department of Tourism, the unit aims to strive by 2025, Cu Nam Cultural Tourism Village will be qualified to be recognized as a provincial-level tourist area; become an attractive sightseeing, resting, entertainment and recreation destination in the North Central region on the basis of exploiting the available advantages of indigenous cultural resources, natural resources and key, unique agricultural products, creating momentum for the sustainable development of community tourism in Quang Binh province.
