To promote and attract a large number of domestic and international tourists to visit the exhibition, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration Ha Van Sieu said that the Administration has sent a document requesting travel agencies to develop an exhibition tour program, introduce, orient and sell tour products to attract the public to the exhibition. The Vietnam National Tourism Administration will promote and introduce information about these tours to a large number of domestic and foreign audiences.
With the theme “80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness”, the exhibition is open to visitors free of charge from 9am to 10pm from August 28 to September 5 at the National Exhibition Center (Truong Sa Street, Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi).
Taking place over 9 days, the Exhibition will introduce the country's outstanding achievements in many fields: Industry - technology; investment - trade; agriculture - rural areas; security - defense; foreign affairs; health, education; culture, sports and tourism. The exhibition focuses on introducing Vietnamese culture - the country - people with a 4000-year cultural tradition; the cultural diversity of 54 ethnic groups; the richness of resources, products of the three regions and outstanding architectural works of the past and present across the country. In particular, within the framework of the Exhibition, there will also be ethnic art performances, film screenings, conferences, seminars, exchanges with artists and prominent figures in various fields.
On the sidelines of the Exhibition, there are expected to be performances and art exchanges by local art troupes such as Bac Giang, Ha Tinh, Phu Tho, Nghe An, Da Nang, etc. at the Central stage of the square house block A; forums and seminars with current topics such as: Application of artificial intelligence in the digital age, Digital culture and digital transformation in the gaming industry; experience of painting auctions, talk shows, artist exchanges, etc. organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Before the Exhibition, two notable events including the music program “Wonder Co Loa” (August 23) and the race “That’s my Vietnam” (August 24) are attractive activities for travel agencies to exploit sports tourism, traditional culture and outdoor experiences.
To serve the people and visitors to the National Achievement Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, the Hanoi Traffic Management and Operation Center said that it will add more bus routes. Accordingly, 20 bus routes will be added to take visitors from 6 directions (Hanoi city center, East, West, South, North of the city and Noi Bai International Airport) to the National Exhibition Center. Thus, in addition to the 2 existing bus routes (No. 43, E10), 18 bus routes will be added with a total of about 70 buses and nearly 900 trips/day. The additional buses will have a signboard with the information "Vietnam Exhibition Center" placed in front of the bus for people and visitors to easily identify.
