Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh has just signed Official Dispatch No. 142/CD-TTg dated August 23, 2025 of the Prime Minister on organizing the opening of the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day.
Telegram to the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Government agencies; Secretaries, Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities; agencies, organizations and enterprises participating in the Exhibition.
The dispatch stated: In order to prepare carefully for the opening of the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (hereinafter referred to as the Exhibition), the Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with relevant ministries, branches, localities, agencies and enterprises to prepare and arrange additional outdoor display areas for unique, typical and representative machinery and equipment serving the industries and fields of industry, construction, agriculture , trade and services of corporations, general companies and enterprises; at the same time, add unique products and artifacts to the indoor areas for display and exhibition, in order to serve the people and visitors and create opportunities for interested partners to learn and promote development cooperation.
The exhibition "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" will take place from August 28 to September 5 at the National Exhibition Center, Dong Anh, Hanoi. The opening ceremony will take place at 9:00 on August 28, and the closing ceremony will take place at 20:00 on September 5.

This is the largest national exhibition ever, displaying many artifacts and images introducing the achievements of 34 provinces and cities, 28 ministries, 94 private enterprises, and 12 state-owned enterprises.
The public will be able to visit and learn about the country's outstanding achievements in 80 years of construction and development in various fields, especially in the fields of industry-technology; investment-trade; agriculture-rural areas; security-defense; foreign affairs; health, education; culture, sports and tourism.
At the same time, the exhibition introduces Vietnamese culture - Country - People with cultural traditions, rich cultural diversity of 54 ethnic groups; the richness of resources, products of the three regions and outstanding architectural works past and present across the country.
Green industries and the green transformation journey, digital transformation, aviation and aerospace industry; security and defense industry... were also introduced at the exhibition.
The exhibition "80 years of Independence-Freedom-Happiness journey" consists of 3 sub-areas: General exhibition area at Kim Quy Exhibition House; Outdoor exhibition area; International exhibition area and 12 cultural industries at Exhibition House block A.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, at the exhibition hall block A, there will be film screenings, art performances, fashion shows, and exchanges with art units, talk shows... There is a stage of about 4,000m2, a 200-seat cinema room that will screen Vietnamese films and exchange with artists.
Currently, preparations for the exhibition opening ceremony have been basically completed. It is expected that more than 3,000 guests will attend the opening ceremony./.
