Dear friend! As the sun was fading in the distance, I spotted groups of people walking towards the sand dunes in the distance. It was as if by appointment.
Not knowing what was going on. The noisy sound of off-road vehicles carrying tourists across the sand dunes also heading towards that place further raised the certainty of the reason for the above convergence. Standing at this gate, looking up, it was the highest point of Mui Ne Sand Dunes. Curious, I also waded through the sand to that place. So did the other tourists. At this time, at the top of this highest sand dune, people were standing and sitting everywhere, almost completely covered.
I went to see what was ahead... It turned out that there was no event, just ahead and below were sand dunes with native trees, followed by the scene of villages and streets lying peacefully next to the blue sea, a gentle color like an endless silk strip. It was like a watercolor painting captured in sight. Many cameras and phones were brought out to capture moments that they found beautiful. Vietnamese, English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese... blended together with the wind. Tall people, short people, adults, children, young men, beautiful women, black skin, white skin, yellow skin, single eyelids, double eyelids... all gathered on this sand hill as if to enjoy a cool feast. Because on this high sand hill, the wind blew in from the sea, cool. It was late afternoon, the 10th moon appeared early, many tourists had not left Mui Ne Bay Sand Hill yet.
It is the Hung Kings' death anniversary, so it is already mid-April, the time when international tourists are at the end of the season. However, those tourists have not left yet. A sign that Mui Ne tourism is returning to normal before the Covid-19 pandemic. Shops are crowded. The colorful tourist bus service that goes back and forth like a shuttle on the route from Mui Ne to Bau Trang tourist area (Bac Binh) and vice versa has more or less shown that.
Dear friend!
If you have read the information on Yahoo! Life (Singapore) in the past few days about the 9 most beautiful tourist destinations in Vietnam that international visitors should not miss when visiting the S-shaped country, you will see that Phan Thiet city is ranked 7th. This page introduces that Phan Thiet is a coastal tourist city, located more than two hours drive from Ho Chi Minh City. There are beautiful beaches, red and white sand dunes, notably Mui Ne Sand Dunes, which offer visitors a unique and surreal scene. The news page also suggests that: "Visitors can try sandboarding and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area. Phan Thiet is also known for the vibrant Mui Ne fishing village, where colorful boats and bustling activities create a picturesque scene."

At the same time, Booking.com, a famous company in the field of digital tourism, also announced that Phan Thiet city is one of the 9 domestic destinations most searched by Vietnamese tourists during the upcoming April 30 and May 1 holidays.
This good news, I think, is not only due to the expressway shortening the distance from Ho Chi Minh City to Phan Thiet, but also because of the changes in people's awareness, most notably environmental protection. Hosting the National Tourism Year 2023, Binh Thuan - Green Convergence has created a series of environmental protection activities, with strong and wide influence, when provincial leaders and leaders of departments and branches all went to the grassroots, rolled up their sleeves to clean up trash, propagated environmental protection, thereby beautifying the already beautiful landscape of the homeland. With Phan Thiet City being a tourist center with many beautiful landscapes, a resort capital, paying more attention to environmental sanitation has added to its inherent beauty.
So, destinations that I thought were familiar, suddenly one day I discovered that they seemed to be more beautiful, different than before. Like at Mui Ne Sand Dunes, a place where trash and plastic bottles easily accumulate, but that day I only saw the velvety pink sand dunes that were beautiful in the afternoon sunlight. In that thought, I suddenly thought that the April 30th and May 1st holidays were coming, you should go to Phan Thiet to play, to renew our friendship of more than 20 years, okay!
