In the match that just ended this afternoon (August 25), the Vietnamese women's volleyball team lost 0-3 to Germany in Phuket (Thailand). With this result, Coach Tuan Kiet's team is at risk of being eliminated right after the second round.

However, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team has shown efforts to overcome the difference in class compared to the European representative.

Captain Thanh Thuy had a great match. The athlete born in 1997 scored 17 points in this match (all from attacking situations). According to Volleyball World statistics, Thanh Thuy was the athlete who scored the most points in this match. In the match against Poland, Thanh Thuy played below her ability, but in the match against Germany, she rose to become the brightest star of the team.

The second highest scorer of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team is Kieu Trinh with 6 points (5 attack points, 1 block point).
