Youth solidarity, proactive for the transition period

Mr. Bui Hoang Tung, Secretary of the Government Youth Union and Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hien, Secretary of Thai Nguyen Provincial Youth Union presented the total resource support board to the representative of Bac Kan Provincial Youth Union.

Without waiting for the Resolution to be officially issued, the youth of Bac Kan and Thai Nguyen have proactively coordinated and implemented many meaningful programs and activities. A typical example is the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, with the participation of a large number of union members and youth from both localities taking place at the end of May 2025.

At the launching ceremony, youth projects and tasks bearing the mark of the spirit of initiative and creativity were initiated and awarded. Highlights include: the activity of giving away charity houses, the inauguration of the project "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful - Civilized - Safe", the inauguration of the children's playground; giving 50 gifts to students in difficult circumstances, along with tasks to support the construction of new rural areas and civilized urban areas...

Leaders of 3 units of Bac Kan Provincial Youth Union, Thai Nguyen Provincial Youth Union, and Government Youth Union presented gifts to families receiving support to build houses.

The merger of the two provinces is not simply a change in administrative boundaries, but also a major shift in organizational structure, development opportunities, and the thoughts and feelings of local people. For the youth of the two provinces, it requires steadfastness in ideology, proactive adaptation, and a constructive spirit. In that context, the role of setting an example, leading, and connecting the Youth Union at all levels becomes more important than ever.

Ms. Hoang Hai Ha shared about the Youth Union's support for young people during this period.

Youth is a force that accounts for a large proportion of the population and is the future owner of the new province. This is not only a time to test their mettle but also an opportunity to demonstrate their pioneering, creative, daring role. In addition to their readiness, the youth also expressed many wishes during the merger process.

Ms. Nguyen Minh Phuong, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Song Cau ward, shared her wishes after the two provinces merged.

The policy of merging provinces and districts and streamlining the administrative apparatus is an important step towards building a more modern, effective and efficient administration.

During this merger period, the Youth Union cadres will also be streamlined in size, but the youth force will be larger in geographical area. Therefore, it requires the Youth Union cadres to be more elite and apply technology better to be able to meet all tasks in the new situation.

Mr. Le Ngoc Dung, Secretary of the Youth Union of Yen Lac town, Na Ri district (now Na Ri commune) said that in order to integrate and grow together in the new era, it is necessary to innovate the content and methods of operation of the Youth Union. This is very important, because we will begin to approach a new area and have a new generation of young people, a generation approaching AI. Therefore, education and propaganda work also needs to be promoted and upgraded.
