Specifically, regarding infrastructure, the budget allocated 510.1 billion VND to invest in upgrading, repairing, and building new school facilities; the National Target Program for Sustainable Poverty Reduction invested 42.4 billion VND to upgrade the Vocational College (now Cao Bang College); the Education and Training career capital in 2024 and 2025 allocated 35.3 billion VND to construct 21 projects; the support and socialization budget is 7.2 billion VND.
Ethnic minority students in Cao Bang province receive investment attention
Regarding equipment, the sector has been allocated more than 146.7 billion VND to purchase teaching equipment for all levels. To date, teaching equipment serving the implementation of the 2018 General Education Program has met about 65% of the teaching and learning needs of educational institutions, an increase of 5% compared to 2024.
According to statistics, in the 2025-2026 school year, Cao Bang province will have 514 educational institutions, including 172 kindergartens; 122 primary schools; 83 primary and secondary schools; 96 secondary schools; 30 high schools; 9 district vocational education - continuing education centers; 1 provincial continuing education center and Cao Bang College. In remote and disadvantaged communes, the sector will continue to maintain 769 schools, including 455 preschools and 209 primary schools.
Cao Bang province's education sector has made many improvements in recent years.
At this point, educational institutions are rushing to complete preparations for the new school year 2025 - 2026.
