Cao Bang Education focuses on innovation and quality improvement

On the afternoon of August 26, the Department of Education and Training of Cao Bang province held a conference to summarize the 2024-2025 school year and deploy tasks for the 2025-2026 school year.

Attending the conference were Mr. Trinh Truong Huy, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Thu, Director of the Department of Education and Training; leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors, facilities under the Department of Education and Training, leaders of communes and wards in Cao Bang province.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Cao Bang province has 514 educational institutions, including 70 specialized schools. The whole province has 5,665 classes, 6,164 classrooms, 11,311 managers, teachers and staff. Closely following the key tasks of the 2024-2025 school year, the Department of Education and Training has directed and implemented the synchronous implementation of the proposed tasks and solutions.

Leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Education and Training of Cao Bang province chaired the Conference.

Results: The rate of preschool-age children attending school reached 99% or more; mobilizing 6-year-old children to attend grade 1 reached 99.7% or more; the literacy rate of people aged 15-60 reached 92% or more... It is estimated that by the end of 2025, 7/7 preschools and general schools will meet national standards, achieving 100% of the target assigned in 2025.

In the 2025-2026 school year, the Department of Education and Training will continue to advise on the development and completion of mechanisms and policies, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of education in the province; innovate and improve the quality of education; and deploy the construction of boarding schools in border communes.

Speaking at the Conference, Vice Chairman of Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee Trinh Truong Huy highly appreciated the results achieved by the provincial education and training sector, and emphasized that in the 2025-2026 school year, the provincial education and training sector will focus on: Fundamentally and comprehensively innovating education and training; advising on timely and effective implementation of the policy of building 10 inter-level boarding schools in border communes; continuing to improve the quality of education.

On this occasion, the Cao Bang Department of Education and Training organized the emulation and reward work for the 2024-2025 school year. At the same time, it received 30 televisions donated by VNPT Cao Bang on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Education and Training and supported educational institutions in the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year.
