Following the instructions of the 799th Economic Group, Mr. Thanh built a barn to replace the previous free-range practice, and planted elephant grass to proactively provide food. Thanks to that, the mother cow is always healthy and has just given birth to a new calf. Meeting us, Mr. Thanh happily shared: "The Economic Group's officers instructed on vaccination techniques and also provided disease prevention medicine, so both the mother cow and the calf are in very good health."

According to Colonel Nguyen Dinh Duy, Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the 799th Military Economic Group: Over the past years, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the Group's commanders, and the Party Committees and commanders of agencies and units have deployed mass mobilization work in ethnic minority areas with many practical and effective policies, measures and models. The Group directs working groups and teams to closely follow the locality, both developing economic projects and carrying out mass mobilization work, promoting the role and responsibility of cadres and Party members according to the motto "4 together": Eating together, living together, working together, speaking the ethnic language together; at the same time "holding hands and showing how to do things" to guide and help people gradually rise out of poverty sustainably.

From 2019 to now, strictly implementing the direction of the superiors, the 799th Military Economic Group has organized many exciting emulation movements: "799th Military Economic Group joins hands to build new rural areas", "799th Military Economic Group joins hands for the poor, leaving no one behind". Thereby, the Group has supported more than 300 families (each family with 1 breeding cow); nearly 100 households were supported to raise black pigs for breeding; nearly 200 households were supported with seedlings (star anise, cinnamon, and cassia) along with planting and care techniques to develop the economy. The officers and soldiers of the Group also participated in thousands of working days to help people overcome the consequences of storms, floods, and natural disasters; built more than 20km of rural roads, facilitating travel, trade, and exchange of goods; construction of irrigation works for production, along with many domestic water works, water reservoirs serving people in residential areas. In particular, through the project "Army officers and soldiers help children go to school", officers, party members and agencies, units of the 799th Military Economic Group have supported hundreds of poor students, with an average support level of about 7.4 million VND/student/year.

The specific, practical actions and effective economic models of the officers and soldiers of the 799th Military Economic Group have been spreading strongly, contributing to changing the backward and ineffective farming practices of the people; helping the people in the difficult border areas of Cao Bang province to escape poverty, gradually building a sustainable and prosperous life.
