On behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Permanent Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh thanked the Communist Magazine for its best wishes and affection for the Ministry as well as the entire sector on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Cultural Sector's Traditional Day (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2025).
Permanent Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh said that, joining in the joyful and excited atmosphere to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2, along with the country's important events, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is also actively preparing activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Cultural Sector's Traditional Day.
80 years of accompanying the nation on the path of building and defending the Fatherland, the Cultural Sector has made many important and extremely meaningful contributions. Especially in preserving identity, fostering solidarity, arousing endogenous strength and promoting the sustainable development of the country.
In recent years, with the close attention and direction of the Party and State leaders, the Cultural Sector has continuously developed, increasingly affirming its important role and position in the cause of national construction and development.

Sharing about some important tasks of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism at present, Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh said that the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is working with the whole country to prepare for the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2. Including the Exhibition of National Achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), special art programs to celebrate, as well as activities at the National Day Parade and March on September 2.
Along with the special tasks on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism is also coordinating with relevant agencies to carry out other very important tasks such as: Drafting the Resolution of the Politburo on cultural revival and development in the new era; appraising the feasibility study report of the National Target Program on Cultural Development for the period 2025-2035; developing the Project on Internationalization of National Cultural Identity and Nationalization of World Cultural Quintessence and the Press Law (amended)... and many other tasks.
These are key tasks, contributing to perfecting institutions and creating a synchronous legal corridor for the sustainable development of Vietnamese culture, while also being the foundation for promoting national cultural values to the world, absorbing the quintessence of humanity, thereby enhancing the position and soft power of the country.

Once again thanking the Communist Magazine for its good sentiments, Permanent Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh expressed his hope that in the coming time, the two sides will continue to strengthen their cooperation, contributing to spreading cultural values, arousing the spirit of creativity and the desire to develop the country. At the same time, promoting the image of Vietnam, affirming the role of culture in construction and sustainable development.
On August 28, 1945, the Proclamation establishing the Provisional Government of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam decided to form the structure of the first State administrative agencies, including the Ministry of Information and Propaganda (the predecessor of today's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) as a member.
In 2001, the Prime Minister decided to choose August 28, 1945 as the traditional day to mark the milestone of the establishment of the State agency in the field of Culture and Information associated with the birth of the revolutionary government apparatus of the people, by the people and for the people.
