Chau Thanh Commune Party Committee Secretary Lam Minh Cong (third from right) presents the decision to establish the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Chau Thanh Commune ( An Giang Province) to the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the Commune.
Speaking at the conference, Secretary of Chau Thanh Commune Party Committee Lam Minh Cong requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Standing Committee to focus on effectively implementing 9 key tasks from now until the end of 2025. In particular, he emphasized the need to widely disseminate important resolutions of the Central and the province, especially those related to the development of science, technology, private economy , digital transformation, legal reform and administrative unit arrangement.
The Secretary of the Chau Thanh Commune Party Committee requested the Commune Front to develop a plan to collect public opinions on documents of Party congresses at all levels, prepare well for the election of National Assembly and People's Council deputies for the 2026-2031 term, launch a peak month for the poor and organize a national great unity festival in 2025.
The communal front needs to improve the effectiveness of social supervision and criticism; innovate its methods of operation; promote the role of typical individuals, unions, and socio-political organizations in building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, protecting the environment, preventing and combating crimes, and ensuring social security.
