Establishment of the Party Committee of the Defense Command of Region 2

The Party Committee of the Defense Command of Region 2 - Dong Gia Nghia is a grassroots Party Committee directly under the Provincial Military Party Committee. The Party Committee consists of 7 subordinate Party cells with a total of 290 Party members. The Party Committee Executive Committee consists of 15 members, the Standing Committee has 5 members. Lieutenant Colonel Y Thanh BKrong, Political Commissar of the Defense Command of Region 2 - Dong Gia Nghia was appointed to hold the position of Party Committee Secretary; Lieutenant Colonel Phan Huy Hung, Commander, holds the position of Deputy Party Committee Secretary.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Le Truc Lam, Deputy Commander of the Provincial Military Command, requested the Party Committee and the Defense Command of Region 2 - Dong Gia Nghia to thoroughly grasp the guiding documents on the organization and arrangement of the local government apparatus, especially in building a streamlined provincial army and perfecting the organization and staff. The Party Committee promoted its leadership and direction role, built strict working regulations, ensuring that there were no gaps in leadership; continued to arrange the organization of local military agencies to be streamlined and effective.

The Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Defense Command of Region 2 - Dong Gia Nghia was launched.

The Party Committee firmly upholds the Party's leadership principles, promotes internal solidarity, closely coordinates with local Party committees and authorities in building a solid and interconnected defense zone; continues to consolidate the "people's hearts and minds"; reviews and adjusts defense plans and combat strategies in accordance with the Party's military and defense strategies.
