Thai Nguyen will organize an art program and fireworks display to celebrate National Day.

On the afternoon of August 18, Comrade Bui Van Luong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee, chaired a working session with relevant sectors and localities on preparations for activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; and organizing activities for the Mid-Autumn Festival.

According to the report of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, on the occasion of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the Department organized art performances and fireworks displays at 3 locations: Vo Nguyen Giap Square (Phan Dinh Phung Ward), Van Xuan Square (Van Xuan Ward) and Song Cau walking street ( Bac Kan Ward). The scale of the activities ensures appropriateness, practicality, efficiency, safety, economy and compliance with current regulations.

Representative of the Provincial Military Command spoke at the meeting.

This year, the province will organize activities to visit and give gifts to children in difficult circumstances; organize a Mid-Autumn Festival contest with the theme " Thai Nguyen - Sparkling Mid-Autumn Festival". The events will be held in 3 central areas of the province: Van Xuan ward, Phan Dinh Phung ward and Bac Kan ward.

Based on the opinions of representatives of relevant sectors and localities, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Van Luong agreed: Regarding the art program, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism shall preside over and coordinate with the three localities to organize activities that ensure solemnity, economy, and meaning but reflect the scale and stature of the event; at the same time, appraise the content of cultural and artistic programs in the direction of combining mass art with professional art.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Van Luong delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.

The fireworks display will be carried out with socialized resources, assigned to the Provincial Military Command for consultation and implementation. The Public Security sector will develop a plan to ensure absolute safety in terms of security, order, and fire prevention.

The specific time for organizing the art program and fireworks display will be agreed upon by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to be widely informed soon. Regarding the activities during the Mid-Autumn Festival, Comrade Bui Van Luong agreed with the advice of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism. However, the preparation for the activities must be very urgent, clearly assigning the responsibilities of relevant agencies, units and localities in organizing and implementing to meet the requirements.
