The match between Thailand and the Netherlands women's team at the 2025 Women's Volleyball World Championship was truly an emotional feast with breathtaking chases lasting 5 sets.
In set 1, despite being underestimated and having already secured a ticket to the round of 16, Thailand played with determination in front of the enthusiastic cheers of the home crowd. Pimpichaya continued to prove his leadership role, playing solidly with his teammates in both attack and defense to win 25-23.

However, the Netherlands quickly regained control in set 2 thanks to their physical advantage, strong attacks and tight defense, closing the set with a score of 25-17.
Set 3 witnessed a fierce tug of war, as Thailand played with enthusiasm and took the lead at crucial moments. Pimpichaya once again shone, helping the home team win by a close score of 25-23, thereby winning a set against the Netherlands for the first time since 2017.
However, the European representative did not let the surprise repeat itself in set 4. With a series of consecutive points, the Netherlands won overwhelmingly 25-10, bringing the match into the deciding set 5.

In the final set, the Netherlands controlled most of the time, but Thailand showed their mettle when they took the lead 12-10. Unfortunately, the attackers failed to take advantage of the opportunity, allowing their opponents to come back and win dramatically 16-14.
In the end, the Netherlands won 3-2 to keep the top spot in Group A of the 2025 Women's Volleyball World Championship, while Thailand sadly finished second and will have to face Group H winners Serbia or Japan.
