The 2025 Unified Pickleball Open recently took place in Vung Tau city, gathering about 350 professional and amateur players competing in many categories such as: Leadership doubles, guest doubles, women's doubles 4.5, mixed doubles (ranks 5.0, 5.5, 6.5, 7.5), mixed doubles 5.2. and super cup doubles.
Notably, in the mixed doubles event at level 6.5, young tennis player Jolie Lam (real name Ngo Lien Chung Thien Lam) with stable performance and solid competitive spirit, together with Nadal Thai (real name Dang Tran Quoc Thai) convincingly won the championship.
In the final match, Jolie Lam/Nadal Thai showed their bravery and concentration to defeat the pair Tai/Quang with a score of 15-11, officially winning the 6.5 mixed doubles championship.
Thus, in June alone, Jolie Lam won 2 championships and 2 runner-up titles at pickleball tournaments.
Previously, the 17-year-old female athlete won the Zorba X & Friends Hanoi pickleball tournament in women's doubles 5.0, second place at the Da Nang Pickle by Zorba X tournament and second place at ASTRA OPEN - Dong Nai 2025.
Jolie Lam has gradually become a familiar name on the podium at pickleball tournaments across Vietnam recently.
The tennis player born in 2008 stands out with his height of 1m7 and his abundant physical strength thanks to his tennis playing experience.
Having been familiar with tennis since the age of 12, Jolie Lam has made remarkable progress with 3 titles in national youth tournaments in 2024.
Thanks to that, even though she has only been playing pickleball for about 5 months, Jolie Lam already has an impressive collection of titles.
