Vinh Phuc is considered one of the provinces that has contributed greatly to the central budget over the years, creating conditions to increase investment resources for socio-economic infrastructure and implementing social security policies. One of the key factors contributing to the achievements of socio-economic development is that the province always identifies investment promotion and attraction activities as the leading effective tool to help mobilize capital and technology to realize economic development goals.
Since then, the Party Committee and authorities at all levels in the province have taken the right steps in each period to create an attractive investment environment, attracting domestic and foreign capital flows. In particular, the press has been and is an integral part of the investment and business environment in the province with articles highlighting and openly discussing the problems that investors and businesses are facing as well as proposing constructive solutions, promoting an increasingly better environment for cooperation and investment and business.
With the motto "All investors coming to Vinh Phuc are citizens of the province, the success of investors is also the success of Vinh Phuc", Vinh Phuc has issued and implemented many preferential policies to attract investment suitable to the actual context of the locality.
Accordingly, the province's press agencies have focused on building specialized pages and columns such as: "Corporate Finance", "Vinh Phuc Integration and Development", "Today's Issues"... of Vinh Phuc Radio and Television Station; "Attracting Investment - Industrial Development" on Vinh Phuc Daily Newspaper, Vinh Phuc Electronic Newspaper, Vinh Phuc Sunday Newspaper... with many in-depth articles and reports promoting and introducing the province's investment and business environment; mentioning and analyzing solutions to support and care for local investors with an open and receptive spirit that the province has been implementing such as: Reforming administrative procedures; removing obstacles in terms of premises, import and export of goods or difficulties in recruiting personnel... so that businesses can feel secure in production and business, expanding investment, while investors and businesses themselves help the province attract new investors.
As the mouthpiece and voice of the Party Committee, government and people of the province, Vinh Phuc Newspaper has made strong changes, constantly innovating and diversifying the content of its publications, making an important contribution to the socio-economic development of the province, notably timely and effectively disseminating important events of the country and the province, especially events related to investment attraction, economic diplomacy and industrial development.
Through news and articles in many genres such as: Reflection, reportage, interview... reporters of Vinh Phuc Newspaper have actively introduced the investment environment, production and business results of enterprises inside and outside industrial parks and industrial clusters as well as highlighted and promptly reflected the difficulties and obstacles that enterprises are facing.

From there, it contributes to creating an attractive, healthy, transparent investment and business environment, attracting many investors and enterprises to the province, especially foreign direct investment (FDI), corporations, strategic enterprises with strong financial potential, advanced technology, management experience, making important contributions to the development of the province, making Vinh Phuc a "bright spot" in attracting investment and developing industry nationwide.
If in 1998, the province only attracted 8 FDI projects and 1 project with domestic investment capital (DDI), then by the end of April 2025, the whole province had nearly 500 FDI projects, with a total investment capital of 8.5 billion USD; more than 680 DDI projects, with a total investment capital of more than 145 trillion VND.
The achievements in attracting investment have been promoting international integration and developing the province's brand, establishing development cooperation in many fields with localities and cities at home and abroad; creating motivation to increase budget revenue, improve and enhance the lives of local people.
With the solid foundations built in nearly 3 decades since the province was re-established, Vinh Phuc is facing many opportunities to attract a new wave of strategic investment in addition to supporting and promoting stronger investment expansion from existing strategic investors.
