Less than a month after being crowned Mrs Grand Vietnam 2025, beauty Nguyen Thi Thua has officially represented Vietnam at the Mrs Grand International 2025 contest.
Mrs Grand International is a prestigious global beauty pageant for married women, with a strong message promoting peace, ending violence and gender inequality. Vietnam once had a representative crowned Miss Phan Kim Oanh in 2022, who was invited to hold the crown for two consecutive terms - an unprecedented event in the history of the pageant.
Besides her confidence and radiant demeanor, the special highlight that helped Nguyen Thi Thua conquer the judges and international audience, surpassing 39 contestants from all over the world , was her fluent English communication ability and inspirational life perspective in the performance at the final night of the competition on July 12.
The question for the Vietnamese contestant was: “Is there a stereotype about married women or mothers that you want to break while standing on this stage?”
Beauty Nguyen Thi Thua answered: “When standing on this stage, I want to break the stereotype that women, after getting married or becoming mothers, no longer have the opportunity to pursue their dreams. On the contrary, marriage and motherhood have helped me become stronger, more profound and more loving. I believe that women can take care of their families, develop their careers and still shine brightly in their own way. I am here to prove that women who are married or become mothers do not lose themselves, but they continue their journey with more inspiration, charisma and confidence than ever before.”
Miss Nguyen Thi Thua was born in 1989, 1m72 tall, currently working at the Department of Information and Statistics ( Ministry of Science and Technology ). She is a former student of Thai Nguyen University and holds a Master's degree from Hanoi National University. Currently, the beauty is studying for a PhD in Science and Technology Management at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Hanoi National University), with the desire to bring science closer to life, especially in the fields of environmental protection and sustainable development.
Nguyen Thi Thua's title marks a new proud milestone, continuing to affirm the position of Vietnamese beauty in the international arena, while spreading the image of Vietnamese women as intelligent, compassionate, and ready to contribute to great values for the community and the world.
