From December 1 to 3, 2024, in Tokyo, Japan, the Vietnam Business Association in Japan (VJBA) organized a series of events for Vietnam Business Day in Japan 2024 with the theme "Sharing vision, sharing success".
The Vietnam Business Day in Japan 2024 event aims to promote economic cooperation and cultural exchange between the business communities of the two countries. In particular, the main event of the Vietnam-Japan Business Day 2024, taking place on December 3, attracted the participation of more than 250 Vietnamese and Japanese enterprises, including representatives from more than 50 enterprises from Vietnam.
The event includes many activities such as the Vietnam - Japan Trade Promotion Seminar jointly organized by the Department of Economics ( Ministry of National Defense ), the Association of Military Enterprises (AME) and the Association of Vietnamese Enterprises in Japan; along with the Vietnam - Japan Trade Exhibition; meetings and exchanges and signing of cooperation agreements (MOUs) between businesses of the two countries.
Speaking at the main discussion session at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan Pham Quang Hieu assessed this as an important event, of special significance to the VJBA in particular and the Vietnamese business community in general. The Ambassador expressed his joy that over the past year the association has grown stronger, with more meaningful activities not only for the association but also for the community as well as for the relationship between the two countries.
Specifically, in 2024, VJBA members actively supported the community when earthquake disasters occurred, supported Vietnamese people affected by the recent storm No. 3 (international name: storm Yagi) and especially connected with domestic Vietnamese enterprises as well as Vietnamese enterprises around the world .

Sending congratulations on the success of "Vietnam - Japan Business Day" - an event organized annually by the VJBA, Ambassador Pham Quang Hieu expressed his hope that in the coming time, the association will expand its presence, recruit more members, carry out many practical activities to bring benefits to members as well as the community, affirming the position of Vietnamese enterprises in Japan.
Ms. Tong Kim Giao, President of VJBA, said that the activities were an opportunity to mark the close and progressive partnership between the two countries. This event also marked the sustainable development of the Vietnamese community in Japan, where the Vietnamese business community has constantly strived and learned to achieve the current success. The President of the VJBA - the oldest trade association of Vietnamese people in Japan - also assessed that, when working together, united and working towards a common goal - Vietnamese businessmen in Japan have created a greater strength, and have together carried out many meaningful activities for the community.

Within the framework of the series of events on December 3, the Vietnam - Japan Trade Seminar was jointly organized by the Department of Economics (Ministry of National Defense), the Military Business Association (AME) and the Vietnam Business Association in Japan. Delegates representing member enterprises of the Military Business Association (AME) presented their products and services, and listened to comments and advice from Japanese experts and partners. The lively discussion and Q&A sessions helped enterprises better understand the markets, business cultures and development opportunities in the two countries.
