Exciting summer activities for children and teenagers

Summer is not only a time to rest after a year of studying but also an opportunity for teenagers and children to develop their talents, practice physical training, and participate in meaningful social activities. In Hung Yen, this summer is taking place vibrantly with a series of useful and attractive activities for children.

Children and teenagers participate in gifted classes.

Every summer, Thai Binh Children's Cultural House   has become an ideal meeting place for hundreds of children with a passion for art. With a total of   35 gifted classes   organized, this place brings a creative, joyful and useful learning space for children. From dancing, singing, fine arts, martial arts, musical instruments... to physical activities, each class is organized systematically and scientifically . In particular, specialized clubs   such as: ritual drums, ritual trumpets, Cheo singing, vocal music ...   always attracts a large number of talented students who are passionate about studying long-term. In particular, the Cheo singing class attracts special attention from many students . Under the guidance of Cheo artists, students learn Cheo melodies.   ancient, practice performance techniques   and learn more about folk culture through ancient Cheo stories.  

Nguyen Khanh Chi, Hop Long village, Thu Vu commune said:   Learning to sing Cheo helps me love Cheo melodies more.   of the nation. Each lesson not only brings joy but also helps me practice concentration, stay away from electronic devices. I hope that the art of Cheo will be known and appreciated by more young people.  

As the person who directly teaches and accompanies the children, Ms. Trinh Thi Khanh Hoa , collaborator of Thai Binh Children's Cultural House   share :   Participating in learning Cheo singing during the summer brings many practical benefits to children. Not only does it help them practice their confidence, expressive ability and performance skills, this subject is also a way for them to approach and understand more about the traditional art of the nation. Through each Cheo tune, children learn how to appreciate culture, thereby loving and being aware of preserving the identity of folk culture. I always try to impart the most basic knowledge so that children can approach it in an easy-to-understand and interesting way.

At the commune   Tien La, the atmosphere of activities took place bustlingly , attracting 1,000 teenagers and children to participate in local summer activities . Immediately after receiving students from schools, the Commune Youth Union quickly built and implemented a specific summer activity plan, suitable for each age group.

In addition, life skills education content is also effectively integrated, helping children practice self-confidence, discipline, responsibility and community awareness.   In addition to cultural activities, collective singing and dancing, the Commune Union   Tien La   organized many thematic activities such as instructing on escape skills in cars, preventing and avoiding drowning accidents, fire prevention and fighting skills and traffic safety. Thereby, helping children gain more practical knowledge to protect themselves, at the same time experiencing a safe, rewarding and meaningful summer.

After the merger of Hung Yen and Thai Binh provinces, Hung Yen Provincial Youth Union   There are more than 7,000 youth unions operating in 104 communes and wards, forming a widespread network . Mr. Thieu Minh Quynh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, said: We have directed the youth unions of 104 communes and wards to simultaneously implement summer activities for teenagers and children. The grassroots youth unions are assigned clear tasks in gathering, guiding and organizing entertainment, art and sports programs suitable for children. In addition, the Provincial Youth Union always proactively supports and coordinates with localities to promptly handle situations arising during the organization process, in order to contribute to raising awareness and life skills for teenagers and children.

Without the need for modern playgrounds or expensive technological entertainment, simple summer activities filled with laughter are lighting up memorable summers in children’s souls. It is not only a journey of fun but also an opportunity for children to learn, grow and become more connected to the community.
