Following the success of the first Vietnam ESG Forum with the theme "Sustainable development strategy in the new era", the 2025 Vietnam ESG Forum with the theme "Science and technology and driving force for sustainable development" will focus on one of the key factors to promote sustainable development in the new era: science and technology.

The theme of this year's forum is also in line with the spirit of Resolution 57 of the Politburo , which is to take science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation as the driving force for development.
The members of the Vietnam ESG Forum 2025 High-Level Council are actively preparing for the first meeting. This important meeting aims to review the overall orientation of the Forum and discuss in depth this year's key topics.
At the meeting, members will exchange and discuss the orientation of the implementation plan for the series of activities throughout this year's Forum, including seminars, business connection programs, promoting innovation initiatives, communication activities to spread ESG values in the business community and society...
In addition, the Council will also set criteria for assessing the actual effectiveness of activities, to ensure that the Forum is not only a place for policy dialogue but also a launching pad for creative, feasible solutions with spillover effects in practice.
The Council members are all prestigious and influential individuals in the ESG field, invited by the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam ESG Forum to participate and commit to contributing to the development of the Forum.
The Vietnam ESG Forum High Council has 10 members who accompanied the Organizing Committee of the first Vietnam ESG Forum and added a number of new members, including Mr. Nguyen Trong Khang - Chairman of the Board of Directors of MK Group, Associate Professor, Dr. Ta Hai Tung - Principal of the School of Information and Communication Technology ( Hanoi University of Science and Technology).
Previously, speaking at the closing ceremony of the first Vietnam ESG Forum on April 23, journalist Pham Tuan Anh - Editor-in-Chief of Dan Tri Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam ESG Forum - said that the first year of the Forum received great attention from the business community.
The Vietnam ESG Forum 2025 will be a place to exchange and discuss important issues such as: How can businesses apply science and technology to improve the environment and limit negative impacts on the environment? How can businesses solve social problems such as hunger eradication and poverty reduction, improving the quality of education and healthcare, and creating sustainable employment opportunities? How can science and technology enhance transparency, accountability, and governance efficiency?
Editor-in-Chief Pham Tuan Anh also revealed that the highlight of the Vietnam ESG Forum 2025 will be the Vietnam ESG Awards 2025 - a prestigious title honoring businesses that have made outstanding achievements in implementing ESG in science and technology towards sustainable development.
The Organizing Committee of the Vietnam ESG Forum believes that honoring businesses with good performance will inspire and motivate other businesses to act for a better future.
