Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Minh Kien, member of the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, emphasized that throughout the history of the nation, there have been millions of patriotic hearts who did not hesitate to sacrifice and dedicate their youth to protect every inch of their homeland.
Imbued with the moral of "When drinking water, remember its source", in recent times, Dong Nai youth have promoted activities to educate the younger generation about revolutionary traditions and lifestyle ethics; organized many activities to pay tribute to heroic martyrs, heroic Vietnamese mothers, people with meritorious services to the revolution, and families with preferential policies.

At the ceremony, officials, union members and youth in the province performed the ritual of offering flowers, incense and lighting candles in gratitude at the monument and on each martyr's grave.
After the candle lighting ceremony at the provincial martyrs cemetery (Dong Tam commune), the Provincial Youth Union will continue to organize candle lighting ceremonies to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at Ma Da martyrs cemetery (Tri An commune) on the evening of July 24 and at the provincial martyrs cemetery (Long Binh ward) on the evening of July 26.
