The first Ferrari Purosangue super SUV worth over 40 billion VND arrives in Vietnam

It is still unclear whether this Ferrari Purosangue has an owner or not. This is the missing piece for Vietnamese tycoons who want to own a high-performance SUV.

Officially launched 2 years ago, but there is currently no Ferrari Purosangue registered in Vietnam, confusing car enthusiasts. But recently, a ray of hope was lit when a used car dealer posted a photo of a Ferrari Purosangue at a port warehouse in Ho Chi Minh City.

Accordingly, this Ferrari Purosangue super SUV is gray and it is still unclear whether it has an owner or not. This is the missing piece for Vietnamese tycoons who already own high-performance SUVs such as Aston Martin DBX707, Lamborghini Urus, Bentley Bentayga, Range Rover SV but still lack the Ferrari Purosangue super car.

The Purosangue’s shape is still dominated by curves, heavily influenced by the Roma, both front and rear. The design of Ferrari’s high-riding model is similar to the 5-door version of the Roma and has a raised chassis. The height of the car is only 1,589 mm, lower than all competitors in the segment. The lowest SUV is the Lamborghini Urus with a height of 1,638 mm.

The Purosangue is also Ferrari's first model to feature a suspension system that automatically adjusts to the angle of inclination, acceleration based on a 6-axis sensor system on 4 independent wheels. Although it cannot be as smooth as a normal SUV, Ferrari says that the Purosangue's suspension is not as stiff as the company's low-slung cars and can meet the needs of traveling with a family.

Ferrari Purosangue has a reverse opening style like Rolls-Royce super luxury cars. The front doors still open with traditional levers, the rear doors with small levers located on the edge of the door near the B-pillar. The luggage compartment has a capacity of 473 liters on Purosangue. The second row of seats can be folded down to increase storage capacity.

The interior of the Purosangue is also different from most of its competitors. Two screens are dedicated to the driver and the passenger. Leather and carbon fiber are the main materials used for the details inside the car. The middle of the dashboard is concave like a waterfall.

The Purosangue is the only car in its segment to feature a naturally aspirated V12 engine. The most powerful versions of its rivals all feature V8 engines. The Ferrari Purosangue's 6.5 V12 engine produces 715 horsepower and 715 Nm of torque.

The Ferrari Purosangue's specifications are superior to the Aston Martin DBX707 (a special version of the DBX) with 697 horsepower and the Lamborghini Urus Performante with 657 horsepower. The naturally aspirated engine on the Ferrari Purosangue is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and full-time 4-wheel drive.

The Purosangue has a dry weight of 2,033 kg with a front/rear weight distribution of 49/51. The car is capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 10.6 seconds. Top speed is 309 km/h.

According to some sources, this Ferrari Purosangue is likely to be officially imported but has not yet reached the hands of Vietnamese tycoons. According to the announcement from Ferrari Vietnam, the car will cost from 40 billion VND, not including additional options.
