On the morning of October 13, contestant Vo Quang Phu Duc (grade 12 student majoring in mathematics, Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted) excellently won the prestigious laurel wreath in the final round of the Road to Olympia 2024 contest.
Phu Duc became the third student to bring glory to Thua Thien Hue province, while Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted holds the record of having 7 contestants enter the final round of Road to Olympia.

According to Mr. Nguyen Tan, Director of the Departmentof Education and Training of Thua Thien Hue province, contestant Vo Quang Phu Duc is worthy of the trust and expectations of his family, school and the entire audience of the Ancient Capital.
When Phu Duc returns to Hue, the education sector of Thua Thien Hue province will organize a reception and honor him right at the yard of Hue National School, recognizing his contributions as well as encouraging the studious spirit of all students.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Permanent Vice Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee, assessed that Phu Duc had an excellent performance, demonstrating the spirit and courage of a student from a land with a rich tradition of studiousness, a major educational center of the country.

More information about the Champion of Road to Olympia 2024, teacher Nguyen Phu Tho, Principal of Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted in Hue, said that Vo Quang Phu Duc studied at Nguyen Tri Phuong Secondary School, a high-quality school in Hue.
When entering Quoc Hoc Hue, Duc was in the source of the Math team participating in the national excellent student competition. After that, he was determined to invest in the Red Laurel program organized by the school and won the championship, thereby having the opportunity to participate in the Road to Olympia competition and reaching the finals of this competition.
In addition, Phu Duc and two other students of the school won first prize in the Heritage with Schools contest organized by the Department of Education and Training of Thua Thien Hue province in coordination with the Hue Monuments Conservation Center.
Vo Quang Phu Duc is also an excellent student for 11 consecutive years.
Mr. Nguyen Phu Tho affirmed that winning the championship this time was a worthy result after the hard training efforts that Phu Duc had gone through. His performances clearly demonstrated the mettle and demeanor of students from Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted at the Road to Olympia playground.

At the final round of the Red Laurel contest season 6 organized by Quoc Hoc Hue High School on the evening of August 3, Le Quang Duy Khoa (11th grade English major student) won first prize and will represent the school at the Road to Olympia 2025 program.
It is known that at the final of Red Laurel season 6, through 4 rounds simulating the program Road to Olympia, Duy Khoa achieved a score of 295, surpassing the remaining 3 contestants to win the championship.
