Ho Chi Minh City tourism businesses change business cards, renew destinations...
On July 1, speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Vy (media representative of the inbound travel company on Tran Quoc Thao Street, Xuan Hoa Ward) said that the company is preparing to launch a new comprehensive tour product with a new ward name, along with attractive stimulus policies to attract tourists.
Ms. Vy explained: "Cultural stories in Saigon, Gia Dinh, Cho Lon wards... will attract tourists. We will renew the tour itinerary, which just by getting on the bus will evoke images for tourists because it has stories attached to each location, the tour is themed with the heritage space.
Previously, it would be difficult to attract customers when designing tour names to District 1, District 2... but now it is possible to design tour names such as bustling Saigon tour, vibrant tour; Gia Dinh tour is a tour of Southern cultural space. Each ward has its own story, helping businesses easily innovate products...".
Meanwhile, Mr. To Hien Hau (Japan tour operator, company in Ho Chi Minh City) said that starting next week the company will change the tour program title, change information... to gradually get used to administrative changes.
"The company changed its new address to Saigon ward. Each tour guide and each operator can change all information about administrative boundaries on their name cards or other information. We are ready to "transform".
That's about the form and content of the current outbound market travel company, so there hasn't been much change in operations," said Mr. Hau.
Recruiting more tour guides who are… local people
According to Mr. TVC (owner of a travel company in Vung Tau ward, Ho Chi Minh City), the city has a very good new ward name, so the company will soon open more tour routes instead of the limited ones before.
"To compete with other travel companies that have strengths, we plan to recruit more tour guides in the direction of collaborating with the people themselves. Because the name of the new administrative unit gives the feeling of belonging to the community, the subject and very knowledgeable about the land.
When inviting them to collaborate, to become semi-amateur tour guides, it is also an opportunity for people to participate in preserving and creating the culture of the land. Only then can tourism businesses compete for great opportunities and make an impression on tourists," said Mr. TVC.
In addition, facing great opportunities for tourism, Mr. Truong Duy Thanh - General Director of Unisky Tourism Company (HCMC) said that there will be many businesses and tourism brands promoting new destinations, but in the digital marketing era, to avoid confusion in the eyes of tourists, the local tourism industry needs to create a new set of tourist maps to guide tourists.
At the same time, according to Mr. Thanh, businesses will join hands to promote on social networking platforms, search engines and digital maps, using press channels, media, and digital platforms to convey messages, position destination brands, etc.
