After a call in the middle of the night, the missing fisherman's boat is still anchored at sea.

On August 28, according to information from the leaders of the People's Committee of Ky Phu commune (Ky Anh district, Ha Tinh ), authorities and local people found the body of a fisherman in distress at sea.

The victim was Mr. TQTr. (61 years old, residing in Phu Hai village, Ky Phu commune). The victim's body was found early the same morning, about 1 nautical mile from the coast of Ky Phu.

Authorities have carried out procedures to hand over the victim's body to the family for burial.

Previously, on the afternoon of August 26, Mr. Tr. alone drove a 15CV boat out to sea to fish for squid.

Late that night, the fisherman contacted his family and said he was tired after catching some squid.

However, relatives were unable to contact Mr. Tr. A few hours later, local fishermen discovered Mr. Tr.'s boat anchored at sea, the lights were still on but no one was in sight.

The crew checked and found that the squid cage was empty, but the belongings, clothes, and phones were still intact on the boat.

Upon receiving the information, border guards, police, local authorities and more than 40 fishing boats coordinated and made efforts to search for the victim that very night.
