Morning of October 2, preliminary conclusion of the Economic Development Cooperation Agreement

The conference to review the implementation of the Socio -Economic Development Cooperation Agreement between Ho Chi Minh City and a number of localities in the North and North Central regions for the period 2023 - 2024; Implementation plan for the period 2024 - 2025 will be held on the morning of October 2.

Ho Chi Minh City and the Northern and North Central provinces signed a cooperation agreement for the 2023-2025 period.

On September 23, Thanh Hoa Electronic Newspaper reported that the conference was scheduled to be held on September 27. However, the Organizing Committee has adjusted the time to the morning of October 2 so that the provinces and cities in the North and North Central regions can focus on overcoming the consequences of storms No. 3 and No. 4.

The conference was held to review the socio-economic development cooperation agreements between Ho Chi Minh City and a number of localities in the North and North Central regions until 2025, signed between the localities on March 25, 2023; at the same time, orient, build and unify the socio-economic development cooperation plan between Ho Chi Minh City and a number of localities in the North and North Central regions for the period 2024 - 2025.

The conference was chaired by leaders of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces of Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Ha Nam, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, and Thua Thien Hue.

In the period of 2023 - 2024, the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City and the Northern and North Central provinces have directed local authorities at all levels to create favorable conditions for businesses and investors to implement the contents of the signed Cooperation Agreement.

Ho Chi Minh City has implemented 3/3 of the regional coordination contents for the 2023 - 2024 period; 33 bilateral coordination contents between Ho Chi Minh City and a number of localities in the North and North Central regions for the 2023 - 2024 period.
