"At the age of 65, with 65 works, we consider this a model of professional work for photography enthusiasts to strive for. I think that these photos are not only for performance but also carry the mission of further spreading the art of hát bội - the traditional craft of our nation to young people" - Mr. Doan Hoai Trung - Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Photography Association expressed.
Before "Colors in Tuong", photographer Nguyen Hong Nga had organized many personal exhibitions on unique national art forms such as: "10 years of theater in me" (1998), "Artists and roles on the Tuong stage" (2005), "Water puppetry stage" (2010), Dance (2019).
Photographer Nguyen Hong Nga introduces her work to guests, audiences and colleagues.
This time, with the main "character" being the opera stage, her lens both truly reflects the character's demeanor, the artist's state of ecstasy in performing on stage, and clearly shows the personality of each character on the opera mask, leaving a special impression in the audience's heart through each play.
That is the uniqueness in the character of Ta On Dinh (work "San Hau") with the villain's face painted in a combination of black and white; or feeling the brave spirit of not giving in to the enemy through the work Trung Trac, Trung Nhi, Quan Si. The moments that attract viewers are captured by the lens of NSNA Hong Nga, shining the beauty of each fate.
