PTSC participates in Petrovietnam Sports Festival - Northern region in 2025

From June 6 to 8, 2025 in Hanoi, the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group Sports Festival - Northern Region (Sports Festival) was held with the participation of 21 sports delegations from member units of the Group. This is a major sports event of profound political and cultural significance, part of a series of activities to celebrate important holidays of the country and the Oil and Gas industry. This year's Sports Festival took place in a vibrant competitive atmosphere, celebrating the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (1975-2025), the 64th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Industry, and especially towards the 16th Oil and Gas Cultural Week. At the same time, the event is also a practical activity to achieve achievements to welcome Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress.

  Participating in this sports festival, the PTSC sports delegation with more than 100 athletes competed in 10 events, including: football, men's and women's tug of war, chess, Chinese chess, badminton, table tennis, tennis, pickleball, swimming and athletics. During the 3 days of competition, PTSC athletes gave many exciting and thrilling matches, demonstrating their bravery, endurance, technique and spirit of fighting for the country's flag. Regardless of the content, the spirit of solidarity - determination - confidence to conquer challenges was always present, creating a beautiful and emotional image at the sports festival.

In the end, PTSC won 9 Gold medals, 4 Silver medals and 11 Bronze medals, winning the second prize for the whole team. This achievement is not only a worthy reward for the efforts and dedication of all athletes, but also a clear demonstration of the spirit, aspiration and collective mettle of PTSC. The Vietnam National Energy Industry Group Sports Festival - Northern region 2025 has ended, but the positive energy of sportsmanship, team spirit and pride in the unit will continue to spread strongly in each PTSC member. This is a great motivation for PTSC to continue to promote tradition, improve the spiritual life of workers, and accompany Petrovietnam on the journey of sustainable development.
