The delegation visited and presented gifts to Mr. Nguyen Duy Minh, a 2/3 disabled soldier, a 4/4 disabled soldier, residing in Trang village; and Mr. Nguyen Phu Trung, born in 1964, a 4/4 disabled soldier, residing in Thuong village, Thanh Liet ward.
At the families he visited, Party Secretary and Chairman of Thanh Liet Ward People's Council Nguyen Minh Tuan expressed his emotion and deep gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions of war invalids, sick soldiers, and people with meritorious services to the revolution.
In the coming time, the Party Committee and the ward government will continue to promote the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source", better implement policies for people with meritorious services; regularly care for the material and spiritual life of comrades so that they can feel secure, live happily, healthily and usefully. This is not only a responsibility, but also a sentiment, a sacred morality that today's generations must always remember, preserve and promote."


Touched by the deep concern of the ward leaders, Mr. Nguyen Phu Trung, born in 1964, a 4/4 war invalid, Thuong village expressed: “I am very touched and grateful for the deep concern of the leaders of Thanh Liet ward. Today's warm visit is not only a material encouragement, but also a great source of spiritual encouragement for us... As someone who has experienced war, I understand the value of peace and appreciate even more the positive changes of my homeland after the unification day. I completely believe in the correct policies of the Party and the State, especially the current merger and streamlining of the organizational apparatus to improve the efficiency of government operations and better serve the people. I continue to encourage my children and grandchildren to strictly follow the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, actively participate in building a new life, contributing to making my homeland Thanh Liet more civilized and beautiful”.
