Currently, the Vietnamese community in Korea has become a strong community with more than 350 thousand people, including more than 100 thousand Vietnamese families.

"It can be said that each sister and each Vietnamese-Korean multicultural family is a bridge and an ambassador of friendship between the people of the two countries" - Mrs. Ngo Phuong Ly emphasized.

Listening to the sisters share about life in a foreign land, the Lady shared that when living far from home, the sisters will encounter difficulties, from differences in language, culture or adapting to a new life in the native land...

However, Mrs. Ngo Phuong Ly said that, overcoming the difficulties and confusion of the first days in Korea, Vietnamese brides have gradually integrated into life abroad, trying to find a better life.

Not only did they overcome barriers and make efforts to integrate into the new life, but they also did not forget to preserve their national culture in every language and custom. The Lady was pleased to see that the women actively participated in community activities, supported each other, contributed to the local society and maintained close ties with their homeland, cultivating a new, stable and happy life.

The General Secretary's wife hopes that no matter what difficulties, problems or support you need, you can go to the Vietnamese Embassy and Consulate General in Busan, South Korea, or Vietnamese associations here to listen, share and support to resolve your thoughts and aspirations.

The Party and State always consider the overseas Vietnamese community an inseparable part, the flesh and blood of the nation, always closely following the lives of our compatriots living abroad, especially paying attention to the lives of Vietnamese women who marry foreigners.

Expressing their honor to meet Mrs. Ngo Phuong Ly, Vietnamese brides in Korea shared about their lives. Vietnamese brides all affirmed that despite living in the land of kimchi, they always try their best every day, striving to live better, not only knowing how to take care of a happy family but also helping society to make life more meaningful and valuable.

In addition, organizing Vietnamese language classes still faces many difficulties in terms of teachers and curriculum. Vietnamese brides hope that more overseas Vietnamese will participate in Vietnamese language training classes, and be provided with curriculum suitable for the age of children in multicultural families.

Vietnamese brides also want more support to help single-mother families. Overseas Vietnamese hope that the Party and State will create favorable conditions for them to regain their citizenship; support opportunities to regularly return to Vietnam to participate in cultural experience programs to connect with their homeland...
