Vice Chairman of Lam Hai Giang Provincial People's Committee celebrates longevity of elderly people in Hoai Nhon town

(binhdinh.gov.vn) - On the occasion of the Vietnamese Elderly Day (June 6), on the afternoon of June 5, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lam Hai Giang visited, presented gifts and wished longevity to the elderly in Hoai Tan ward, Hoai Nhon town.

Vice Chairman of Lam Hai Giang Provincial People's Committee visited Mr. Le Cua's health.

At the places visited, Vice Chairman of Lam Hai Giang Provincial People's Committee presented a 100th birthday greeting card fromthe President to Mr. Le Cua (Giao Hoi 1 Quarter) and a 90th birthday greeting card from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to Ms. Doan Thi Giao (De Duc 3 Quarter); kindly asked about their health, spirit, life and wished them a happy and healthy life, continuing to promote the tradition of "old age, bright example" of the elderly.

This activity demonstrates the Party and State’s concern for the elderly, and is a beautiful cultural tradition of “respecting the elderly and wishing them a long life” of our nation. Vice Chairman Lam Hai Giang requested local authorities to continue to pay attention and implement policies for the elderly in the area./.
