Dr. Dung said that adult tapeworms are scattered throughout the country, with an infection rate ranging from 0.5-12% of the population.

People infected with tapeworms will have symptoms such as digestive disorders, dull, prolonged abdominal pain, and frequent intestinal discomfort and restlessness.
