The Economic Police Team of Son Tra District Police (Da Nang) has just coordinated with the Infrastructure Management Board of Da Nang Industrial Park to inspect the compliance with environmental protection laws at the branch of Long Khai Joint Stock Company (address Lot 16, Road No. 1, Da Nang Industrial Park, An Hai Bac Ward, Son Tra District).
The inspection showed that the company has an approved environmental impact assessment report according to regulations, contracts, documents for collecting hazardous waste, domestic waste, and treated wastewater.
However, after measuring the boiler exhaust gas discharged into the environment, it was found that the carbon monoxide (CO) content exceeded the permissible standard.
Authorities are inspecting compliance with laws on environment, resources, food safety, and noise measurement at business establishments.
Previously, on April 6, the Economic Police Team of Son Tra District Police coordinated with Phuoc My Ward Police, the Central Institute of Labor Safety and Hygiene and Environmental Protection to inspect compliance with laws on environment, resources, food safety, and noise measurement at Phui Business Household (address: Ho Nghinh Street, Phuoc My Ward).
Measurement results by the authorities showed that the noise was 56.5 dBA (exceeding the standard), the facility used people directly preparing food without wearing hats, masks, gloves, and without sanitary waste collection and storage facilities.
Currently, the violations of the above-mentioned enterprises and business establishments have been recorded by the inspection team, and will continue to be verified and handled according to regulations.
